Zeolite Rotor concentration system

  Munters Corporation

American Munters Corporation is a sixty year old air treatment technology company, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. The company’s founder, Carl Munters, was a renowned 20th century inventor who many consider the “Edison of Sweden.” In 1989, Munters had earned nearly 1000 patents. With more than 150 systems currently in service, Munters has grown to be the worldwide market leader in air treatment technologies. Their installed base includes some of the world’s most respected companies. Munters is the industry leader in zeolite rotor concentrator systems. The rotor technology has widely applied to automobile lacquer profession and chemical industry exhaust gas concentration in the state and the local such as America, Europe, Japan and so on.

   How the System Works

Solvent laden air is drawn through the HoneyCombe rotor where volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are removed from the air stream by adsorption onto the hydrophobic zeolite. After passing through the rotor, the cleaned air is discharged into the atmosphere. In industry, it used the thermal energy burning down technology to abate low density volatile organic compounds before, completely depends upon the massive consumptions fuel, reduces the pollution through the high-temperature oxidation, The expenses are very high. SDEEC’s adsorption concentration technology uses Munters’ hydrophobic zeolites and advanced rotor technology, It will lower the density of the volatile organic compounds to concentrate to the original volume 5%-10%,Then concentrates compounds to be allowed to process through the catalyzed oxidation.
